IB Program Introducing Broker Program
An Introducing Broker (IB) is essentially an agent which introduces new customers to a Forex broker.
The Introducing Broker receives a referral fee from the Spread or Commission charged by the brokerage. normally it ranges from 10% to 25% of the brokerage and sometimes certain broker can pay up to 42% from the brokerage.
Running IB programs can be very profitable but IB needs to keep the customer from leaving the customer pool.
A lot of IB is not going through a proper IB training program, they just get the Rebates Table and rush to inform everyone, like working in MLM without having a good understanding of the Forex market.
Some IB uses their beautiful face to attract client but cannot provide a solid backup of customer requests.
